flav has left the chat

sunny morning

Makes a difference, not having to get up at 5:00 am. Unfortunately it also makes a difference money wise, but not as much as it would have been a year ago, both because I didn't have many pupils at St George's and because my private teaching situation has improved since then -even though I did lose, for diverse and all valid reasons, four pupils in the few days following my leaving St G. But I have a morning to practise a bit of guitar, tidy up (some hope!) and send more letters to local schools who don't know what they are missing by not having me teaching the guitar there. Err...

krius's birthday dinner was a very good affair, quite a few people. I ate too much, I'm yet to learn that just because it was a fixed price buffet I don't have to eat it all:P

some pictures (rather bad pics, but that's not really the point) here

You can rest a little more easily now....

Gamma ray bursts are not as likely to wipe us out as previously thought. That's a relief.

That only leaves the asteroids, global climate change, ebola, the new crops of antibiotic-resistant diseases, the mad fundamentalists fighting the US, the mad fundamentalists formerly sponsored by the US, whichever madmen are currently sponsored by the US, the mad fundamentalists currently in charge of the US.....
