It’s been bouncing around in my head for a while: some BBC newscaster was announcing yesterday or the day before that they had arrested some people suspected of going to participate in the G20 protests in London. They had been found in the possession of Anti-Capitalist propaganda. Eh? That’s a heinous crime, is it? From the tone of the newsreader’s “they’ve been found in possession of... ‘ I was expecting something like ‘...bomb-making equipment’ or ‘list of prominent targets’ or something like that. ‘Anti-capitalist propaganda’? They probably had flyers saying that bankers are greedy or sumfin, that can’t be allowed...
