(no subject)

Still haven't updated iPhone to iOS7; waiting for any kinks and glitches to come out. Did update the iPad, as mentioned earlier. Still don't like the colour scheme, icons and animations but got used to where things are and, more or less, how they work.

Television still dead. The .. authorised agent for Sainsbury's and whoever else invented the brand for e-Motion (who don't really seem to exist, they don't have a web site or address, etc) wants eighty something pounds for repairing the telly, which would be essentially re-flashing the firmware. Plus packing (do people really keep boxes for items like this?) and shipping, it begins to beg the question whether it is worth the while, for a telly that cost less than two hundred quid.

Last night met Krisztina and yog_sthoth for coffee and cake. Daniel seems to think he can fix the telly and it is a matter of sourcing the mother-board which seems to be cheap and of relatively easy availability. Will see how that plays but of course nothing to lose.

ION, tomorrow's ravenstoker's Wrecked, the boat goth club and mini-cruise of the Thames. Looking forward to it.
