Happy Anniversary, Iraq

it would seem that it is now the fourth anniversary of the Iraq invasion. Everybody predicted the chaos that would ensue and which is plain for everybody to see -except for Blair and Bush, in whose view the situation is so much better now than in the days of Saddam, which indeed were bad enough but incomparable to what goes on today. They seem to have achieved the remarkable feat of making many of Saddam's enemies and a lot of ordinary people there long for the times when he was in charge. A job nicely done, at the small cost of "a few hundred thousand ordinary lives..."
