I was turning into a side street in Camden Town a little while ago, not really thinking much about anything, when... well, not a lot. The battleship blue (rather than grey) cloudy sky, the last beam of yellow sunlight hitting on the red brick wall of the infant school, the street sweeper on the other side of the road singing sweetly to himself in some unknown language brought from the furthest end of the world perhaps... and then it all was gone and I was just walking on a shabby side street in Camden Town, hurry up it's getting late. But for less than a second there was magic and meaning in the world, for no particular reason
