When car breaks down there's a rail strike....

... At least i found a seat on the Wafford milk-float choo-choo train, I was fully expecting to have to travel sardine-can style all the way. It was very horrid on the North London Line (it is not called that anymore, what is it now, silverlinkmetro, i think), and it took a whole lot longer than 'normal' as the trains and platforms were so very packed as a result of the strike.....

still waiting to hear the verdict and sentence on the car situation....
