Writer's Block: Jury Duty

Have you ever served on a jury? If yes, then what was the case and what was the verdict?
Yes, a couple of years ago here in London. it was quite an education. At first the case seemed so clear cut, very clearly an aggressor and a victim, no shades. Then you start digging into it and things are no longer black and white, nobody was, in this particular case, completely blame-free or completely at fault. It was a fascinating and somewhat disturbing peek into our human nature and condition and the imperfect (but how could they be anything but imperfect) ways we deal with those things.
