It was a dark and stormy night. Oh, ok, it was raining last night.… - Echoes of Flavio's Ghost Dreaming — LiveJournal
It was a dark and stormy night. Oh, ok, it was raining last night. But it was dark as I was driving back from a pupil's and stop at a street corner, look both ways and signal before joining the road and there suddenly appears a guy on a push bike. Dressed in dark, on a black bike, without any sort of lights or helmet on a dark road at night. He wobbles and screams a lot but mercifully I didn't touch him or even got near him at all. He cursed but I cursed back probably louder. I could have squashed him so easily.. scary. That silly incident could have changed my life and certainly his, neither for the better. Some people out there do seem to believe in eternal life. Now, of course all this is how I remember the situation. The guy probably remembers it differently, with a reckless driver hurtling his vehicle towards him with the express intention of killing him, or something..

Riding without lights is just plain stupid.

Particularly when you do it without lights on a dark rainy street towards an oncoming vehicle that clearly won't have seen you, given all the above.

Sounds like a wannabe existentialist; without the courage to back up his convictions:) LoL :D

But wouldn't that assume that he actually wanted me to carry him off? I think rather he was blindly blundering his way through existence -I suppose most of us do in different ways, although hopefully less dangerous for ourselves and others.
