Way to go to alienate the North except it's not likely anyone up there votes Tory if at all. However there are more than a few immigrants who are fond of the cholesterol heart-breaker diet. A lot of those families vote Tory or don't bother. If the government go for this ( They wont. Some bright spark-advisor will work it out. ) they'll politicise & alienate several generations of Northerners and immigrants who will see the cut in child benefits, long term unemployed rent benefit reductions and this 'benefit-fat-tax' as an attack on their culture.
Fat power baby! But this is one people's revolt that I don't think will have the governement worrying about demonstrations or riots by couch potatoes LoL :)
